Why "kotomori", and why a forest of small apps instead of one big one.
kotomori is a place for small apps about language, learning, and the quiet joy a child feels when they find the right word.
We're not trying to build one giant everything-app. Instead, we're lining up small tools that each do one thing well: SubTube for learning through YouTube, Oekaki Anime for bringing drawings alive, Nazori for tracing hiragana, LiveCap for captioning the sound on your Mac, and Daily English Article for one piece of English a morning.
It's fine to skip days. It's fine not to use all of them. We just want the right one to be within reach when you actually need it. A forest, grown slowly.
